Ms. Elena Minarelli

Manager of Education, Grants and Special Programs, Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, Italy

Elena Minarelli (she/her) is an art historian with a degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage.

Since 2004, she has served as Manager for Education, Grants, and Special Programs at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. She leads the museum’s Education Department, overseeing programs that promote accessibility and social inclusion, activities for schools and families, internship and fellowship opportunities for emerging professionals, and collateral initiatives for the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions, all designed to engage diverse audiences.

Elena Minarelli collaborates closely with the other museums of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation on global educational initiatives. She further secures public funding and grants from Italian and international entities, ensuring that the museum’s educational programs are sustainable and free for all participants.
